I think that is another reason for it to be so popular. I think its not only Indian TV serials but I have seen British and American soap operas and concluded that TV soap operas are not close to real life even in these countries.
KASUTI ZINDAGI KI 2 SAAS BAHU AUR SAZISH SERIAL
It is very rare that a serial actually teaches you something apart from scheming and extra-marital affairs. It is always a pleasure to watch this serial but today was especially good because it even taught me something. I think what Balaji really needs is a new group of writers who can write something worthwhile and would not feed us this kind of b***s*** all the time. I think this time she played it safe and killed Shiv but brought him back as a ghost so that people could digest his death and would not protest much against her.

This was still digestible but later on they went on a tangent and brought in ghosts to save different people in the serial.Īfter the demise of Mihir in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Ekta Kapoor got a lot of flak and there were scores of protestors outside her house. So he marries someone else and then falls in love with her. There was a twist about "Manglik" sons and stuff where the main protagonist "Shiv" was supposed to get married to someone else in order for his love to survive. In my last post, last year I had written how Karam Apna Apna was really a nice and fast pace serial but in the past one year it has gone through so many ridiculous changes that I can’t begin to explain. I had stopped talking about Indian television because there was so much already written about it but seriously I think there is need for more to be written about it.
